Baglan Bay Register Interest
Baglan Bay is set to become one of South Wales’ leading employment areas. Led by landowner and developer, St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, Baglan Bay includes a £500 million employment site and the well established 180 acre Baglan Energy Park.
The area is strategically located near the M4 corridor (between junctions 40 and 41), provides rail freight links and is situated within an area already undergoing major physical and economic regeneration.
Spanning more than 1,000 acres overall, a wide-scale regeneration programme is fully underway. Over the next 25 years, various development opportunities will be brought forward in line with market demand with up to 7,500 jobs expected to be created through the process in excess of 4.0m sq ft.
Baglan Energy Park is the first phase in the regeneration of Baglan Bay. It is already home to several leading businesses including Intertissue, Montagne Jeunesse and Hi-Lex Cable System Ltd. Further speculative office and industrial premises are available to let and bespoke development opportunities also on offer. The park is a joint initiative between the private and public sector: St. Modwen, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and the Welsh Government.
