Hurns was saved from liquidation when it was bought by brother and sister, Phil and Connie Parry, in 2002. Through years of hard work and sheer determination, the pair have created an award-winning brand in the range of Tomos Watkins beers, lagers and cider.

Adwell Foods first contacted Swansea Bay Partnership in 2001 when the company realised it was ready to export to international markets. The family-run company had successfully built up its Welsh Brew Tea brand in Wales over 10 years and felt the time was right to develop an export side to the business.

Corgi Hosiery traces its roots back to 1890, when a Pembrokeshire trader, Rhys Jones, opened a small warehouse in Ammanford’s Wind St. From this humble background Corgi Hosiery has gone from strength to strength, and is now a highly successful, family-run manufacturing business, employing a significant number of local people at its Ammanford headquarters.
